CREME DE MENTHE BARS 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. soft butter
4 eggs
16 oz. Hershey's syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

FILLING:

1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. green creme de menthe (OR 1 tbsp. mint extract, 4 to 5 drops green food
coloring & enough water to make 1/4 c. liquid)
2 c. confectioner's sugar

TOPPING:

6 oz. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

BASE: Mix and cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, Hershey syrup and vanilla, and mix well. Combine flour and salt, and stir into chocolate mixture just until combined. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes in 9 x 13 inch pan that has been lined with aluminum foil and greased.

FILLING: Combine all ingredients and beat until fluffy. Spread on cooled brownies.

TOPPING: Melt and combine chocolate and butter in small pan over very low heat. Cool and spread over frosting. Let set and then cut into small squares.
