CREME DE MENTHE SAUCE 
1/2 c. crushed pineapple and juice
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
Dash of salt
Few drops green food coloring
Few drops peppermint extract

Boil all ingredients except flavoring, until pineapple is clear. Add flavoring. Pour over vanilla ice cream. Garnish with maraschino cherry or sprig of mint. Yield: 6 ample servings.
