SLUMGULLION 
1 lb. ground beef
Pinch basil
1 med. onion
1 can tomatoes
1 tbsp. oil (olive oil preferred but any will do)
1/2 lb. sharp cheese
1/2 pkg. macaroni
1 sm. can mushrooms
Saltine cracker crumbs

Chop onion and cook in oil until transparent. Add beef and cook until brown. Add tomatoes, mushrooms and basil and cook until thickened (1/2 hour), adding salt to taste. While beef is cooking, place macaroni in boiling water until tender to taste, then drain. Combine meat and macaroni in casserole. Place cheese slices over top and sprinkle with cracker crumbs. Bake in slow oven until crackers brown and casserole bubbles.
