SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

TOPPING:

1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Cream butter until soft and fluffy and add sugar. Cream until light and fluffy, then add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the creamed mixture, alternating with the flour mixture. Add vanilla. Pour 1/2 the batter in a well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover with half the topping mixture. Pour remaining batter into pan and then put the remaining topping mixture on top. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 40 minutes.
