EDNA'S LIVER PATE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. braunschweiger
1 can beef consomme
1 envelope unflavored gelatin

Heat consomme to boiling point, mix a little hot consomme with gelatin to dissolve gelatin. Add gelatin mixture to remaining hot consomme. Pour a thin layer in mold and put in freezer to stiffen while doing the following: Mix cheese, liver sausage and rest of consomme mix.

When gelatin in mold is settled, pour the above mixture over the top of gelatin in the mold. Let stand in refrigerator until firm. Serve with crackers or rye bread.
