12 oz. lean ground beef 1/2 c. finely chopped celery 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. chili powder 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 c. tomatoes, fresh or canned 1/2 c. cooked rice Combine ground beef, celery, onion and green pepper in non-stick skillet; cook until meat is browned. Drain off fat. Add salt, chili powder, pepper, tomatoes and rice. Cover and simmer over low heat for 45 minutes, adding water occasionally to keep meat from sticking. |
