SAUSAGE & EGG CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. hot sausage (bulk) 1 lb. bacon 10 slices cubed bread (remove crust) 10 eggs, beaten 2 c. grated sharp cheese 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard Dash Worcestershire sauce 1 qt. milk Fry bacon, fry sausage. Crumble bacon. Butter a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Spread 1/2 crumbs of bread and 1/2 cheese. Sprinkle sausage and bacon. Spread remaining ingredients. Add together eggs and milk. Pour over layered mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325 degrees from 45-60 minutes or until lightly brown and set. |
