"BIBLE SCHOOL" APPLESAUCE 
6-8 tart apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water

Cook apples in a covered pan until tender (about 15-20 minutes). When apples are tender, mash them up and add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg (or to taste). Enjoy!
