VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
1 box vanilla wafers (or 12 dozen)
6 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 stick of butter
2 (No. 3 1/2) cans of coconut
1 c. pecans (5 2/3 oz.)

Crumble wafers in medium sized bowl. Beat eggs and add milk. Combine with wafers. Cream butter and sugar then add to mixture. Fold in coconut, pecans, and flavoring. Pour into lightly greased cake pan and bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Number of servings: 20.
