VANILLA WAFER CAKE OR MOTHER'S
TEA CAKE
 
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers, crushed
6 eggs
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. broken pecans
2 c. coconut
1/2 c. milk

Cream butter and sugar together, then add eggs, one at a time, beating after each one. Combine dry ingredients (wafers, nuts, coconut). Continue mixing while alternating dry ingredients and milk into sugar mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours in well greased and floured Bundt pan. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing. Dust with powdered sugar when cool if desired.
