1 1/3 c. softened butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Mix butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla thoroughly. Blend dry ingredients. Stir in nuts and chips. Spread on greased cookie sheet (sheet cake pan). Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cut before completely cooled.
