GRAVY BAKED PORK CHOPS 
4 lean pork chops
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 tbsp. shortening

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Sprinkle pork chops with 1/4 teaspoon salt and a little pepper. Brown chops on both sides in shortening. Drain off drippings. Mix soup, milk, and water. Bake for 45 minutes or until tender.
