SWEDISH "BROWNIES" 
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. almond extract
pinch salt
chopped almonds
coarse sugar or granulated sugar for sprinkling on top

Mix all ingredients except chopped almonds together in a greased 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle chopped almonds and coarse sugar (I use granulated on the boat) on top.

Bake at 325°F for 35 minutes.
