EASY APPLE CAKE 
1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3 c. raw, sliced apples
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

TOPPING:

1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1/4 c. evaporated milk

Combine Wesson oil, sugar, and eggs. Add flour sifted with salt and soda; mix well. Stir in apples, nuts, and vanilla. Pour in greased pan. Cook for 1 hour at 325 degrees. Do not remove from pan until cooled, then cover with topping.
