CANDY BAR COOKIES 
4 c. oatmeal (quick oats)
1/2 c. syrup
2/3 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix with hands. Flatten in greased 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt 1 package chocolate chips (6 ounces) with 2/3 cup peanut butter. Spread on above. Cut in squares.
