GERMAN CHOCOLATE COOKIES | |
2 (4 oz.) bars German cooking and eating chocolate 1 tbsp. butter 2 eggs 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. Calumet baking powder 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 3/4 c. chopped nuts Melt chocolate and butter; cool. Beat eggs until foamy, then add sugar 2 tablespoons at a time. Beat until thickened. Blend in chocolate. Add flour baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Blend. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 8 to 10 minutes. |
