GRAPE-NUTS CUSTARD 
1/3 c. Grape-Nuts cereal
2 c. milk
4 extra lg. eggs
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Scald milk and Grape-Nuts in double boiler. Beat eggs in a bowl. Add sugar, salt and vanilla and blend. Add scalded milk mixture gradually to the egg mixture. Pour into a shallow casserole. Set the casserole in a pan of hot water. Bake until a metal knife comes out clean when inserted in the center of the custard. Remove from water and cool. Serves 8- 10.
