SOUR MILK DOUGHNUTS 
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk
1 1/2 tbsp. melted butter
4 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat eggs well. Add sugar slowly and beat well. Stir in milk and butter. Sift flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Stir into egg mixture until well blended. Chill the dough until it is easy to handle, roll and cut with a doughnut cutter.

Fry in hot grease 375 degrees. When substituting sour cream for milk use the same amount but omit butter.
