AN EASY CHEESECAKE 
3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
5 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Pour into a buttered 9 inch springform cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cool in pan on cake rack for 20 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix together and spread over the top of the cake. Return to the oven for 10 minutes. Garnish with shavings of unsweetened chocolate or top with sliced peaches, strawberries or other berries.
