DUTCH APPLE CRUMB 
6 med. Golden Delicious apples
1/8 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash of cinnamon

TOPPING:

1 c. butter, room temp.
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Core apples and slice thinly. Toss apples with sugar, salt and cinnamon. Pour into a lightly greased 8 inch square pan. Mix topping ingredients until the batter resembles cornmeal. Flatten and lay in sheets on top of apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
