TOLL HOUSE MUD BARS 
1 c. & 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, divided
1/2 c. nuts

Combine flour, soda and salt. Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla. Add egg and beat well. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chopped nuts. Put in 9 inch square pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 23-25 minutes.
