TENDER DUMPLINGS 
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. boiling water
2/3 c. flour
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Bring butter and water to boil. Add flour all at once. Stir until mixture leaves the side of the pan. When cool, add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add seasonings. Add by teaspoonfuls to boiling broth, dipping spoon into hot liquid after droppings each dumpling. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes.
