CHEESE DUMPLINGS (TOROS GOMBOC) 
1 lb. cottage cheese
2 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1 chopped onion, fried in butter until tender

Place cheese in bowl. Add egg and mix well. Add flour and salt, knead until smooth and your hands come clean. Drop by teaspoon into boiling water. Cook until dumplings rise to top, about 10 minutes. Drain. Pour onions and butter over all and mix. Serve.
