CINDY'S VERSION RED LOBSTER
CHEESE BISCUITS
 
2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
6 to 8 tbsp. butter flavor shortening
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
about 1 c. milk
melted butter
garlic powder or garlic salt

Mix flour, cayenne pepper and mustard in a large bowl. Cut in shortening and fold in cheese. Add enough milk to make a batter stiff enough to drop. Drop biscuits on greased cookie sheet. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder/salt.

Bake at 450°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
