SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
3 slices white bread without crust
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. milk
2 lb. mixture beef, pork & veal
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef broth
1 c. light cream

1. Combine bread, onion, salt, pepper, nutmeg and milk in large bowl, let stand 10 minutes.

2. Stir in meat until well blended; form 1 1/2" balls. Brown in butter in a large frying pan. Remove each with a slotted spoon and place in 10" baking dish.

3. Blend flour into drippings in frying pan; cook this, stirring constantly until bubbly. Stir in beef broth and cream and continue to cook and stir until sauce thickens and boils for 1 minute. Pour sauce over meatballs.

4. Bake meatballs in 325 degree oven for 30 minutes.
