NEVER-FAIL DUMPLINGS 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
Milk

Mix dry ingredients. Break egg into a 1 cup measure and fill cup with milk. Beat a little and add to the dry ingredients. Let stand 5 minutes. Drop batter by tablespoon into boiling stew or soup. Cover and boil 20 minutes. Do not peek!!
