QUICK BANANA BREAD 
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 sliced bananas
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. double acting baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Buttermilk, or 1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar and 3/4 c. milk

Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add sliced bananas and egg, beat again. Add dry ingredients and milk. Beat all together. (I just put everything in the processor).

Pour batter into a large greased and floured loaf pan.

Bake at 350°F for 55 to 60 minutes.

You can add nuts. For the holidays I use nuts and chopped maraschino cherries.
