MRS. B.'S CARAMEL CAKE 
1 Duncan Hines butter cream yellow cake mix
4 eggs
2/3 c. oil
1 carton sour cream
1/2 c. sugar

Beat 2 minutes on high speed. Bake in bundt pan 40 minutes (or more if needed) at 350 degrees.

CARAMEL ICING:

2 c. sugar
1 c. whipping cream
Pinch of salt

Use heavy boiler and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Melt or caramelize 1/2 cup sugar in skillet. Pour into milk mixture and cook to soft ball stage, remove from fire and add 2/3 stick butter. Place back on stove and bring to soft ball stage again. Let stand 10 minutes; beat and pour on cake slowly.
