CRANBERRY CHUTNEY 
1 lb. fresh cranberries
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. raisins
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. ground clove
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. water
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped apple
1/2 c. chopped celery

Combine sugars, raisins, all spices, water and onion. Microwave on High for 5 minutes in an uncovered dish. Stir, and let stand covered 10 minutes. Add cranberries, apple and celery. Microwave on High, covered for a total of 15 to 17 minutes, or until mixture boils. Stir after 7 minutes and continue as above. Remove and let stand covered for 30 minutes. Very good with all kinds of meats and keeps well, refrigerated, for a long time.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
