SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS | |
1/2 lb. ground chuck 1/2 lb. ground pork 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs 1 egg, beaten 3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese 1 clove minced garlic 1 jar spaghetti sauce (Prego or Ragu) 1 tsp. minced parsley 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. oil Mix together well the ground chuck, ground pork, bread crumbs, cheese, egg, garlic, parsley and salt. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons water and shape into balls. Heat oil in skillet and brown meatballs well. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer, covered for 30 minutes. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Serves 6. |
