1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. butter
1 c. raisins
5 tbsp. water
1 round tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Plump raisins with the 5 tablespoons of water. Cream sugar and butter and beat in egg. Mix all other ingredients including raisins and water. Drop on cookie sheet (about 1 tablespoon per cookie). Bake until lightly browned. Good and chewy.
