FINGER ROLLS 
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
1 egg
4 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm milk. Add salt, sugar, and shortening. Add 2 cups flour and beat well. Add beaten egg and rest of flour. Knead and let rise until double in bulk. Shape into buns or finger rolls. Let rise to top of pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
