BUTTERSCOTCH STICKS 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla; beat until smooth, dough will be stiff. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Use 12 x 9 inch pan. When cool, cut into 2 x 2 inch sticks.
