1 c. butter 3 tbsp. sugar 2 eggs 3/4 c. milk 4 c. all-purpose flour 4 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. salt Melted butter Cream butter and sugar; add well beaten eggs, then milk, then dry ingredients sifted together. Turn out on lightly floured board and roll 1/4 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter; grease with melted butter and fold over and press edges together. Slightly grease the top of each biscuit. Bake on greased baking sheet at 400 degrees about 10 to 15 minutes. |
