FRIED CHICKEN | |
BATTER: 1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 2 c. buttermilk Wash and salt chicken. Chill all day. Dip in batter, then in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Fry in hot grease until brown on both sides. Bake (on flat pan) in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Be sure to drain pieces on paper towel first. |
