PITA BURGER
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 lb. sliced ham (deli)
1 lb. cooked bacon
4 slices Pita Bread
4-8 slices American or prov. cheese
1 bag lettuce or cut up fresh lettuce
1 tomato, sliced
1 sliced sweet onion (optional)
Ranch or Thousand Island Dressing

Cook bacon. Drain grease. Make four hamburger patties and cook in the same pan until done. Melt cheese on the burgers. Cover to keep warm.

Drain grease. Add the Ham to the pan and just fry up until warm.

In the meantime while the meat is cooking, take a large plate and place your pita on the bottom.

Note: Microwave or Grill Pita's for about 30 seconds to make soft. Prepare your lettuce, tomato & onions.

Layer in this order: Pita, lettuce, Ham, Burger, Tomato, Onion, & Bacon. Top with either Ranch or Thousand Island Dressing.

This is a knife and fork sandwich and once you've had one, you'll be making them numerous times. Enjoy!

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
