GLAZED CARROTS AND APPLES 
4 tbsp. butter
6 carrots, peeled and cut into 4 inch pieces
2 large tart apples, unpeeled, cored and sliced into 1/2 inch sliced
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cinnamon

Melt butter in large skillet. Add carrots and cook 5 minutes. Add apples, sugar and remaining ingredients. Mix well and cover skillet; simmer on low for 40 minutes. Stir to prevent sticking.
