90 DAY PICKLES 
Cucumbers, 1 gal.
4 tbsp. salt
4 tbsp. alum
4 tbsp. pickling spices
Vinegar
Sugar

Wash cucumbers. Pack whole cucumbers into gallon jar. Add salt, alum and pickling spices to your jar. Fill jar with cold vinegar. Cover and wait 90 days or longer (No Kidding).

Pour off vinegar mixture. Wash cucumbers. Slice or chunk cucumbers and put back into jar. Add 6-8 cups of sugar to cucumbers. Let stand 24 hours. Ready to eat. May put pickles into smaller jars. (These are really good, crunchy pickles.)
