GLAZED CHICKEN WITH APPLES 
2 lbs. chicken parts, skinned
1/3 c. apple jelly
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tbsp. reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp. honey
2 Golden Delicious apples, cored and cut in quarters

Place chicken in a 2 quart rectangular dish. Blend jelly and cornstarch in a small bowl. Stir in mustard, soy sauce and honey. Brush top of each chicken part with mixture.

Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high 6 minutes. Baste chicken with glaze. Slice apple quarters 1/4 inch thick and place slices alongside chicken. Recover and microwave on high 6-8 minutes. Let stand 3 minutes before basting chicken and apples.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
