HAZEL'S PARASIDE PIZZA 
MERINGUE SHELL:

6 egg whites
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Gradually beat in 6 tablespoons sugar; add vinegar, vanilla. Fold in remaining sugar and salt. Pour mixture into a 12" or 14" pizza pan. Spread mixture over bottom; shape so there is a 1" rim around edge. Bake 1 hour at 275 degrees. Remove from oven. Let stand until cold.

FILLING:

2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. cold water
4 egg yolks
1 c. butter
1 c. confectioners' sugar
4 egg whites
1 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
