COUNTRY FRIED CHICKEN 
Wash and pat dry chicken parts. Dip chicken into self-rising flour which you have seasoned with 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic pepper, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon paprika and 1/4 teaspoon sage. Then dip into buttermilk and back into flour mixture. Let sit for 15 minutes. Fry chicken in electric skillet at 350 degrees in 1/2 inch of oil. Turn occasionally, do not over crowd, fry for 45 minutes.
