MAMA MAE'S CORN DODGERS 
1 c. plain meal
1 tsp. salt
Pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion

Cook turnips with good side meat. Mix the ingredients and add enough "pot likker" to make a stiff dough. Shape dough into small balls. Put 2 cups of "pot likker" in boiler. Bring to a boil. Drop in the dodgers and cut down the heat. Cook slowly until done. Turn them over a few times.
