1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. chocolate stars (such as Brach's)

Thoroughly cream butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture. Shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Press 1 chocolate star into the center of each cookie while they are still hot. Makes 3 dozen.
