HARVEST LOAF 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
3/4 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger

GLAZE:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 or 2 tbsp. milk

Grease and flour a loaf pan. In a medium bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and cinnamon. Slowly add pumpkin to the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in the butter, sugar and egg mixture and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and half of the chopped nuts.

Pour into a loaf pan and top with remaining nuts. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees or until a toothpick tests clean. Allow to cool.

Mix the glaze and drizzle over the loaf.
