SCALLOPED POTATOES FOR THE
MICROWAVE
 
6 med. potatoes
1 sm. onion
4 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
3 slices cheese
1 c. milk

Peel potatoes and cut into thin slices. Arrange potatoes into 3 layers in a 3 quart casserole dish. Top each layer with onion, flour, butter and cheese. Heat milk and pour over layered potatoes. Cook in microwave on High for 10 minutes, uncovered. Remove from microwave, stir, and cover with Saran Wrap. Place back into oven for another 10 minutes. Let set for a few minutes before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
