SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter (I use Blue Bonnet)
8 oz. sour cream
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. all purpose flour
6 eggs

Cream sugar with butter and sour cream. Add vanilla, then salt and baking soda. Add all purpose flour alternating with eggs. Pour into tube pan and put in a cold oven and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10-15 minutes. Stays fresh for a long time.
