| WAFFLES AND GREEN SALAD WITH TUNA | |

Please don't let the strange ingredients keep you from trying this dish. My family served this many Saturday nights for dinner when I was young. It is a wonderful dish. The tartness of the tuna blends with the sweetness of the maple syrup to create a brand new flavor. waffles served with warm maple syrup ygreen salad (your favorite) with any mild dressing 1 can tuna, drained Fold tuna into green salad, mixing only slightly, leaving tuna in chunks. Bake waffles in the usual way. Serve with warm maple syrup. Waffles and the salad should share the same plate so the two flavors have a chance to blend. Submitted by: Tom McConnaughy | |
