REAL BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. beef tenderloin, trimmed
1/4 c. butter
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1 c. beef broth
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 1/2 tsp. flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Slice tenderloin into 1/4 inch wide slices. Melt butter in large skillet. Brown meat slices quickly on both sides. Remove to platter and keep warm. Saute mushrooms and onion until tender but not brown. Add beef broth, stirring constantly until thickened. Sauce will be thin. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add meat slices. Serve over hot rice or buttered noodles. Serves 2-4 people.
