EXTRA SPECIAL CINNAMON ROLLS | |
4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. sugar 1 c. soft butter 2 pkgs. dry yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. very warm water 3 egg yolks, beaten 1 c. lukewarm milk Cut butter into dry ingredients. Combine all ingredients and beat well. Chill overnight. Grease 24 muffin cups. Roll half of chilled dough into 12x10 inch rectangle. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and 3/4 tsp. cinnamon. Roll up, slice into 12 and place in muffin cups. Repeat with other dough half. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Brush with glaze: 2 tsp. soft butter 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1-2 tbsp. hot water |
