Secret Kiss Cookies

 Sara (Texas) says:
These cookies are cute and VERY easy. Plus if you buy the Hershey's Kisses you've probably got the rest of the ingredients back at home (flour, sugar, butter, opt. powdered sugar).

They taste really good. The dough comes out more like a shortbread. So, if you're not a fan of that mild a flavor Hershey's suggests adding a mixture of 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa with 1/3 cup of powdered sugar in the dough.

This is a perfect recipe to make together with very elderly and very young bakers. I have been enjoying and fulfilling requests for this rich and simple cookie for nearly 20 years. I hope to be rolling those kisses in dough when I am 90!
